As always, I've loved Swanwick. Every time I walk into my room I feel I'm home again. It is like a big extended, warm family.

Swanwick isn't all about attending courses and listening to speakers. During the week there are a number of other things happening to keep you busy.
For regular periods throughout each day, the Book Room is open to sell delegates' books. Do come along to buy something from the Swanwick family.
Throughout the week there are also prebookable 1:1 Sessions available with this year's specialist course leaders.
This year, Tuesday morning is all about Crime with guest speaker, Publisher Jon Wood from Orion, followed by a repeat of last year's hugely successful Q&A Police Panel.
On Tuesday afternoon you can take part in Write, Camera, Action! as a writer, director or actor to help showcase Swanwick's scriptwriters. If you prefer, you can take an outing, go for a walk, do some writing, or simply relax.
From Monday morning onwards, there is a non-denominational Lift Up Your Hearts service of praise in the Chapel, led by Swanwick delegates. There is also a service in the Chapel, or a Roman Catholic service, before lunch on Sunday.
If you are an early morning writer, why not try Lift Up Your Pens to get your creative juices flowing before breakfast?
When the day's courses and workshops are over, you can Read/Write/Relax, enjoying read around sessions, themed workshops or Unwind Your Mind with Zana Lamont to re-energise yourself before dinner and the Evening Events.
It's not all writing!
